Here is a list of my favourites resources relating to growing grapes and making wine.
Books:
From Vines to Wines by Jeff Cox
This is a great book which describes the whole vine growing and wine making process in a detailed and clear way. My only reservation is that being American, all units are imperial, whereas I prefer to use metric, and it goes into a lot of detail on which varieties suit different areas in the US, which is not very useful if you live in England.
Growing Vines to Make Wines by Nick Poulter
Another very good book. Not so detailed as Vines to Wines but is written specifically for those wishing to produce English wine.
Websites:
This is where all of my vines have come from. Run by the very helpful Jack.
I found this document very useful for helping me decide on which varieties to grow.
Another good resource for helping me decide on which varieties to choose.
This is where I buy most of my winemaking equipment and supplies. They offer a very good range of products, good value for money and a very reliable mail order service.
Education:
I did the Intensive Principles of Winemaking course here which was fantastic.
